228 Pharma Trading humbly started on May 2009 by Simeon T. Salonga, a former medical representative, together with his wife Marilou F. Salonga. They started as an exclusive distributor of branded generic products in the area of Batangas province with only limited products, clients, and suppliers. The office and storage were located at the owner’s residence. After 2 years, the sales began to reach its peak, and other suppliers started to propose more products. By 2012, they started to hire medical representatives that could help them expand their coverage in the provinces of Quezon, Laguna, Cavite, and Mindoro.

The founder is aggressive on improving and expanding the business. On September 2016, they moved to their renovated office building and continuously develops and fills up the Northern areas such as Baguio, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Zambales, Pampanga, and Bulacan. The Mega Manila area was opened on year 2018. Today, they maintained eleven (11) own branded products and is continuously increasing. On their 10th year anniversary, the theme “LEVEL UP” deliberately agreed upon to serve their valued clients as well as their end users. LEVEL UP in seeking market share, improving services and developing the strength within the company which is their core values.
